Wow! I just posted yesterday with pictures of the bare concrete foundation, and I expected that the next step would be putting up the frame. But I didn’t expect them to be moving so quickly! The construction team is currently working on the frame of our new building! Hallelujah!

New Progress! Since the retaining wall went up, the construction crew has excavated the lot and begun installing wooden forms for the Chapel’s foundation. Although it may look like framing, this wood is temporary and will serve as the mold for the upcoming concrete pour. We’re excited to see progress! Stay tuned for more updates

And we have a permit to rebuild the Chapel! It has been ten years since the fire. The Chapel was rebuilt after the flood in 2013. We were able to worship in the restored building for 18 months. Jeff informed us this past Sunday that our completed application has been sent to the various offices of the county. It is our prayer that a building permit will be issued soon, perhaps by the end of the month. Keep watching here, and please keep praying!

We have just been informed that our well permit has been approved! With that and our septic approval in hand, we will begin negotiations with the county again. It is still our hope and prayer to have a building on our original site by the end of the year. Please join us in this prayer.
